Meryl Proctor founder of Ashimoto Essential Beauty admits she still has her Barbie doll collection under her bed. It’s that passion for dress up and play that has made her a successful beauty expert for over 21 years. But now she gets to ‘play’ with larger-than-life dolls like brides-to-be, runway models and even The Housewives Of New Jersey have been her clients. Her work has appeared in a variety of publications including New Jersey Bride, New York Bride, and Town & Country. She’s worked alongside industry icons Bobbi Brown, Trish McEvoy, and designers Michael Kors and Cynthia Rowley and continues to do professional photoshoot and special occasion work. As an airbrush artist and eyelash extension expert she’s dedicated to ensuring her clients have the latest techniques and products at their disposal. That’s why she’s partnered with Ingot Cosmetics of Poland with store locations in Dubai, England, Italy, Paris and NY. Meryl may still love her Barbies, but she doesn’t play around when it comes to beauty.
